For sale is my ’96 Miata, Montego blue, with 162,XXX miles (subject to change – I drive it). It runs great and has been well maintained. Power windows, cold A/C. Mild modifications include Jackson tubular anti-sway bar, Koni adjustable shocks, Borla low resistance stainless exhaust and muffler (nice note), Monster intake and cool air box, R & R clutch, slotted disc brake rotors, stainless steel style bar. The top is about four years old and is in great shape, including the glass rear window. Tires have about 25,000 miles on them. Wheels are off a ’99 Miata (proper offset). Smooth shifting transmission. The leather interior is showing its age; one seam separation on the driver’s side bolster. The car has parking lot dings and rock chips, the biggest being under the front bumper. There’s one spot on the hood that has been sloppily touched up. The air bag light is on (common to these cars – about a $500 unnecessary repair). Power radio antenna has been replaced with a standard one. The cruise control just stopped working (but who uses cruise on a Miata?). I’ve had to start adding oil, a quart about every 1000 – 1200 miles; not sure about the cause. The car has the expected squeaks and rattles of a 14 year old car. I have the service records from the man I bought the car from three years ago. This car is super-fun to drive and has a lot of life left in it. Selling to buy another one (NB – next generation). More pics are available upon request.
