1971 Honda CL175 Cafe RacerThis is an awesome little bike I picked up a few months ago and got it going! The guy I got it from said it wasn't running and didn't know what was wrong with it. When I got it home I cleaned out the gas tank, replaced the spark plugs and gave it a charge and it fired right up. The Odometer indicated 8000 miles on it when I got it and seems to be accurate from what I can tell. I stripped the fade paint of the tank and cleared over it, and painted the fenders and air covers gloss black. I changed out the stock handlebars for some Euro style ones that give the bike a much nicer look. I removed the old seat cover and reshaped the foam for a sleek cafe look, had it recovered with carbon fiber vinyl, looks awesome! Replaced the blinker lights and taillights with triumph style lights which also lend to the Euro look. Replaced all the cables and rear shocks. The bike is in good running condition, shifts through all gears smoothly. Awesome starter bike with plenty of power to cruise around town. Blinker relay needs to be replaced other than that it all good. Given the age there are some scratches on the frame and a few minor dents that could easily be repaired however I think it looks good with the ratty Euro look!
