Now, a little about the history of this specific 750iL. This car has been owned by one owner since it was new. The car was originally sold by BMW Manhattan in New York City. It was recently traded into Pace BMW in upstate New York on a new BMW. I purchased the car directly from them. The owner of the car maintained homes in Manhattan and Rye New York, and presumably used this car to commute in between these places. The car has EXTREMELY low mileage for a 1997. I suspect the car was kept in underground parking while in Manhattan as it does not show any city type wear on the exterior. I believe that this car is fully optioned for a 1997 e38. It has Xenon headlamps, GPS Navigation with TV and Video inputs, Security Glass, and the mobile telephone. Please be advised that the phone can no longer be activated because it is Analog. It is more of a conversation piece. This is on top of the extensive list of standard features including full leather interior, extended walnut trim, reclining rear seats, and front and rear seats, and 4 spoke heated steering wheel (yes, it works!). What makes this car particularly special is a bit of trivia. This is the exact color combination 750iL driven in the epic parking garage chase scene by James Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies. Though you can't control this car from your cell phone like Bond, I think you'll find the performance very similar! The interior of this car is spectacular. The Black Montana leather is in beautiful shape, as are the dash and the carpets. The car has 2 zone automatic climate control which even allows for multiple fan speeds. The car has its original carpet floor mats which are in excellent condition. It has the DSP audio system which sounds very good. The keyless entry system works. The owners manual booklet is all there, as well as the navigation discs. The outside of this BMW is beautiful and is finished in very handsome Aspen Silver Metallic. The car is in exceptionally nice condition for its age. There arent any major imperfections in the exterior. There is a light scuff on the trunk lid, and a section of cracked paint on the hood that has been touched up. The car has the 750iL exclusive fan type wheels which are in perfect shape. The car has nearly new Continental tires. I have been driving this 750iL as my personal vehicle for the last week or so. It runs perfectly, and gets so many looks. It appears to have recently undergone the costly and important water pump service. The car is very smooth on the highway with no shakes. All accessories have been tested and work, including power windows, air conditioning, and cruise control. All of the window lifts were properly and there isn't any delamination at all in the security glass. There aren't even any dead pixels in the instrument cluster.
