Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very clean 1993 Honda Civic DX Sedan. I am a wholesaler offering new car trades at no reserve to the public. I road test all of my vehicles before listing them. I give full disclosure of anything and everything wrong that I can find with any car I list. I list my cars with complete honesty and my feedback shows this. Please ask any questions you may have BEFORE bidding. At the end of the auction, this car will go to the highest bidder so bid to own! Around the outside this is a creat looking Civic. I have not been able to find a single spot of rust on this car which is odd for a Honda of this age. The paint shines up great all around. There are no major dents. There are a few scratches on the right side of the hood. You probably won't be able to see them in the photos but they are there. I can not find any signs of collision damage past or present. The tires have decent tread, too. All around this is a great looking car with tons of life left in it. The inside of the car is pretty clean, too. There are no rips or stains in the carpet or headliner. The drivers seat has a small rip in the fabric on the left side of the drivers seat cushion. You should be able to see this in the photo. The dash and console are both clean and have no cracks. The glove box is broken at the hinge but I have a replacement ordered already. There are no warning lights on in the dash. This car has air conditioning which is rare in this model. The air is ice cold, too. Mechanically, this car is equipped with the reliable 1.5L engine. The automatic transmission is in great shape and shifts well through all gears. The engine starts right up and is very quiet. With only 120,000 miles on it, this Honda is barely broken in! There is no smoke from the tailpipe which can happen to Civics that haven't been as well cared for. The radiator has recently been replaced. The only bad thing I can say is that sometimes the idle fluctuates. This is called idle surge and (from what I have read) is common in Hondas. It is a relatively simple fix and is usually either a small vacum leak or a faulty idle air control valve. If you google "Honda idle surge" there are lots of articles. It usually idles fine but does this once in a while. I am not one of those guys who bandage cars up and ship them off to be someone elses problem. You get it just the way I got it. Two Honda's I have personally owned in the past had this idle issue. It is very common and an easy fix. I just want to be completely up front with you so there are no surprises when you come pick it up. Overall this is a great car and should give its next owner lots of trouble free miles. These cars are ridiculously reliable and get nearly 40mpg. It is PA inspected through next year and ready to go to a new home. Just put gas in it and go anywhere! If you want reliability, fuel economy and an affordable price in a car that doesn't look like total crap...this is your car! You don't find many Hondas that aren't all rusted out at the rear fenders or are all "hooked up" by some idiot who thinks a loud muffler and spray painted interior is gonna win some sort of K-Mart parking lot car show.
