Vehicle Detail

For your consideration: Professionally restored 1966 Chevrolet Impala/Caprice. Frame-off restoration 99% complete. This was Chevy's first generation Caprice designed as the 2-door sedan that was like an Impala but with Cadillac appointments. You can see that the restoration is tastefully done. Not too modified, but clean and updated in order to retain the classic Chevy features. The drivetrain: Completely rebuilt 327 V8 with a mild cam, eddlebrock intake, holly 4 barrel carburator, high performance headers. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a Shift Kit. Brand new custom built drive shaft and dual exhaust tie the drivetrain nicely together. The frame has been sand blasted and sealed. New front end-complete. Rear end is a 9 bolt posi-traction. Foose 20 inch custom wheels in the back wrapped in low profile 275. Up front 18's with 245s. Sits nice and wide. Complete new wiring harnesses with new lights, lenses and bulbs. Fresh paint (Jaguar Midnight Blue) over laser straight body. (A few minor chips, hardly noticeable) Unique canvas blue top custom made and hand-stitched. Brand new interior from top to bottom, Chrome ididit tilt steering column and Budnik half-wrapped chrome steering wheel. Dakota Digital Dash in blue. Original Chrome color bar and am/fm in dash period correct radio with ipod/mp3 connection. Molded rear deck and kick-panels up front hold top of the line boston set-up with matching boston amps, equalizer/pre-amps and 12 inch sub woffer mounted in custom trunk. Set-up for AC/Heat just needs compressor. Never got around to it. I have re-located to San Francisco for work. I never seemed to get to drive it much. Seems a waste to just see it under the car cover. It needs a good owner who will appreciate class and get the stares and thumbs-up I get when I take it out. Over $30,000 invested in this magnificent work of art. Happy bidding!
