THIS IS A 1996 Grand Am Mechanic Special That runs but needs to have some work done to it that's why it is listed as a Grand Am Mechanic Special. For The person that has the time to work on this car!!! The car has about 94,580 miles on it. This is what the car needs as best as I can tell. (1) The car will need a new fuel pump (2) I replaced the back brakes and a new brake line,but the back right rear brake is still not working right. I think it needs a new spring kit on that side. (3) The car runs but now I can hear a vacuum leak on the motor when you turn the temperature control lever off, but if you turn it on defrost it goes away and the car still has heat and air that works. (4) The body of the car is fine.No dents (5) The inside is in fair condition some small cracks on dash. This car is being sold as a fix me up car or as a good parts car. Sold as is with no returns.I just have no time to work on the car or I would fix it up myself and I would use it for a work car. Thanks for looking.
