Vehicle Detail
1965 Triumph Bonneville Serial# du20444 Frame# du20444 This is an older restoration of a frame and engine matching machine completed in 1992 by Dales Cycle of Walworth, WI. It was purchase by me following the completion of the build and then delivered by truck to my door. I started and rode the bike one time. During that one ride I put approximately 2 miles on this bike. At that point all the fluids were drained and the motorcycle was stores for display in the den of my home. It has resided there ever since as a conversation piece. This Bonneville is an important part of British motorcycling history. This is due to the fact that I believe 1965 was the last year the “Teardrop” gas tank with nacelle package carrier was manufactured on this style of bike. CONDITION: This “Bonnie” is in great shape and quite beautiful!!! There are NO dings or dents and the pain is as good as it was the day it came to me from the shop. The ORIGINAL laquer is from Dave Quinn British Motorcycle in Bethany, CT. MECHANICALS: All mechanicals are EXCELLENT and include the following replaced items: Lucus Tail Lampe Lense Original Oil Lines and Clamps K-70 Tires New UK Sources Seat Stainless-Steel Spokes for the First Wheel Polished Original Spokes for the Back Wheel New Exghast System (UK) Both Rims Re-Chromed Gauges Re-Built as New Lucus Ammeter New Wire Harness New Handle Bars (UK) Hand Brake and Clutch Levers are New All Fasteners Re-Cadmium Plated or New ENGINE: New Bore and Pistons New Valves and Guides The Rod and Main Bearings were not replaced but are in VERY sound condition Slight “Blueing” on Exhast Pipes (but nothing major) DOCUMENTATION: Documentation from Dales Cycles as to what specifics were done to this machine to bring it up to present condition. CLEAR Wisconsin TITLE NO leans or encumbrances RESERVE and PAYMENT: I have established what I believe is a fair reserve for a motorcycle of this caliber. At the close of the Auction, the winner must provide a 10% deposit. A BANK WIRE TRANSFER is the only acceptable method of payment. The balance must be paid prior to delivery. As with any machine of this age and vintage there are no guarantees either stated or implied. I can arrange for WORLDWIDE crating and shipping at the buyers expense.
