You are bidding on a very rare Austin Princess Limousine. This particular chassis was built in 1963. This Austin Princess Limo came out of an estate sale and had been sitting for a couple years prior to us acquiring it. The vehicle has been converted to run with a Chevy 250 Straigh 6 Cylinder. The Princess would be perfect for a limousine business or wedding transportation service. The engine runs strong and the added on A/C blows cold! This car is not in mint condition and does need some TLC. Mechanically the engine is good and transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes work as should. Mileage listed is what vehicle reads, but we don't believe this to be accurate. Because of age, this vehicle is being sold as exempt from mileage requirements. Cosmetically the car could use a paint job, and has some rough spots in the body that could use attention to. Many limo companies look past this as the vehicles are old and don't have to be in pristine condition to rent. The seats seem to be in good condition, but has some trim falling off here and there and the door hinges need a little adjusting. The foot step on the drivers side door is missing, but doesn't affect the drivability of the car, just doesn't have the step to make it easier to get in and out of. These vehicle look very similar to the old bentleys and rolls royces, but are extended in length for extra room in the back for a more "limo" feel. This particular Princess sold on ebay a a few years back for over 20k. That being said, the reserve is substantially lower and we realize with the TLC it needs we don't consider this a perfect vehicle by any means. The car is available to be looked at in Blue Springs, MO. While pictures are nice, we encourage people to come look at the vehicle before bidding. We are honest people and want to make sure you're happy with your purchase. We also have another Princess we have for sale that would go great with this one. Let us know if you have any questions.
