1964 PONTIAC CATALINA CONVERTIBLE PHS DOCUMENTATION. 88,132 Actual Miles My other car that was on E-bay did not sell so I am going to sacrifice this car in order to get my other projects done. This Is Only A 5DAY AUCTION!!!!before we get to far it is a Catalina. It has Grand Prix grille and rear light section in it to make it look like a grand prix even though we all know they did not make a grand prix convertible in 1964. All the Grand Prix lighting works as it should all the Grand Prix wiring was used and it is all plug and play no hacks no splicing. Now for the details ENGINE is the original 389 numbers matching block with 1974 4X 455 heads,edelbrock intake,Holley carb,HEI Ignition,H-beam rods,Headers by Warrior racing. engine recently was completly checked out and the following is a list of new things installed. Waterpump,starter,rearmain seal,volt regulator,belts,hoses,MSD plug wires,Autolite platinum plugs,new battery,fuel tank was removed flushed and coated on the inside. Mechanically this car is excellent drive it anywhere. Engine compartment is cleaned and detailed. has factory fan shroud and clutch fan TRANSMISSION has been replaced with a turbo 400 with B&M Star Shifter. Has new Flowmaster exhaust this car sounds great nice size cam. INTERIOR is all original except for carpet and the carpet on the bottom of the door panels. it is extremly nice for a 46 year old car. No cracks in dash pad new seat belts, rear seat speaker,am-fm cassette stereo,power antenna,wiper delay,2 speed wipers. BODY is nice I re-painted it last winter with PPG base/coat clear/coat wet sanded & buffed The paint on this car is exceptional. The trunk floor is perfect no holes and spatter painted with spare and factory jack. floors are nice no holes Frame has no rust issues. Convertible top is like new. also have new convertible top boot. power top works perfectly. WHEELS are torque thrust polished aluminium with Goodyear Eagle P225/70R/15 tires in very nice shape. Chrome on car is in pretty nice shape the front bumper has a couple of dings. the rear bumper is re-chromed and very nice. rest of chrome is nice. Everything on this car works as it should all lighting,wipers,heat etc. the only thing that doesn't work is the horns don't blow when horn ring is depressed but the horns do blow if i jump the horn relay. i will try to fix that this week I have talked to 2 previous owners dating the car back to 1981. It was owned from 1981 to mid 90's by one owner then from mid 90's to 2009 by another owner then I bought it last year. the owner that had it in 1981 filled me in on all the engine details since he had the engine built. He said he spent 5K in 1983 to have motor built. This is an eye catching show quality paint car with ABSOLUTLY NO ISSUES drive anywhere right now. I have video of this car running in my drivway that I can e-mail interested parties. this car is stunning and i think priced way under it's value. hagerty had no problem insuring it for 20K. At this price you muscle car dealers out there could flip this car and make some money.
