1972 300SEL 4.5 in excellent overall condition. Long body SEL car, sunroof and leather interior. This is a true car from California with actual miles. It is a true corrosion free car. All the body panels are with out perforation. No bondo straight panels. Interior: all originally except front dash wood refinished. Dash excellent. Side door wood shows typical aging but overall good. Dash is crack free. Leather is excellent original. These are original Roser leather seats, you can tell by the natural wear marks since the leather was surface dyed (not vat dyed like all the replacement leather). Seats are firm. Carpets are excellent velour all 100% original except for hat shelf. Exterior: Repainted car. Paint is good. All bright work very good to excellent. Rubber is good. Glass is all good. Few small chips in the front windshield. No cracks. Mechanicals: Excellent engine. Runs and drives 100%. No vibration on breaking or driveline. This car is not a money pit. It has excellent handling. Fantastic acceleration with out any misfire. Warm up cycle is immediate with out the troublesome hic cups form the idle speed controller. A new manifold pressure has been installed at over $1800. This car is a true dream to drive. Oil pressure is excellent and no smoke on start up. Transmission shifts are crisp. Air Suspension is excellent. Tires: very good condition 7/32nd of tread. All lights work. A/C will need recharge. Unibody. Excellent: Floor pans are not dented. Rockers are solid. NO body work. All gap lines are excellent. No damage on radiator core support. Look at the pictures, core support has not been dented by the curb!!! All panels are straight and with out dents. Rear quarter and wheel arches are solid. Items the car will need: A/C recharge, paint hubcaps. Heater levers will need replacement. As with any older car it will need some items. This is not a perfect car or a new car.
