Up for auction at NO RESERVE is a Rare 1981 Mercury Capri "Black Magic" edition! This barn find was recently recovered and shipped (expensive) from the Canadian country side. Unfortunately I have not been able to receive the printed part of the Canadian title/registration from the person I purchased this car from and I have given up on obtaining this important document in order to file for a new title. The winning bidder will have to bond for a new title. I lost my storage/shop space for this cool restoration project & have decided to pass it along to the next guy. My loss is your gain... This car is sold "AS-IS" with NO TITLE - NO EMISSIONS Mileage is 66,650 Kilometers The Good: First year black magic with about every option: 4.2L 255cu V8 and auto transmission. A/C T-Tops Power windows Power door locks Power steering Power brakes Cruise control Tilt steering Rear defrost Rear wiper Dash is very nice and the original radio & speakers work well! Original and mostly complete except for the grill, gold TRX wheels and driver side arm rest. Includes a new owners manual and sales brochure. The Bad: Needs total restoration and will need to be towed. The car is not in running condition and currently has a starting issue. The car will fire up but will only stay running with the key advanced in the starter position. Even running it is not exactly "road worthy." Has typical rust issues for a fox body with a T-Roof. It will need floor pans and rockers including some various rust repair. Thanks for looking and good luck!
