I am selling this car for a good friend who is not a computer aficionado and asked me if I would help him. You will not find a nicer 1985 GMC Jimmy Sierra than what you see for sale here today. The odometer reads only 64,131 original miles. Purchased new from O’Connor GMC in Maine on 02/08/1985, this particular vehicle was owned by the same person until approximately two years ago. The strange thing is that the original gentleman who owned the car hardly ever drove the Sierra as his wife decided to adopt the GMC for herself. She loved it so much that she didn’t want passengers messing up the vehicle including her husband. When trips were planned, the wife drove the Jimmy and the husband went in a separate car. According to the wife, it was a rare occasion that any other seat in the Sierra would be used except the driver’s seat which she occupied. When the second owner purchased the car, he did drive it sparingly, eventually selling it to the third owner. It is now in the hands of the fourth owner. Please note that the vehicle did have one fender bender in 1985. The passenger's side fender only. Nothing serious but wanted to divulge that anyways for the sake of full disclosure. The GMC has always been garage kept and is in exceptional condition. The original Midnight Black paint is in outstanding condition with a few nicks and scratches that you might expect from a (25) year old vehicle. The interior is also in excellent condition with no rips or tears in any of the upholstery, dash or headliner and still retains the original carpet, also excellent. All trim and bright work retains its luster and the undercarriage is incredibly clean with only surface rust observed. The engine starts and runs beautifully and the transmission shifts up and down the gears with no grinding. The four wheel drive unit is also functional being engaged through the wheel hubs. I am sure it was a rare occasion for the four wheel drive to be engaged. Additionally, all lights, gauges and the stereo equipment function properly. All tires are in very good condition and the spare appears to be the original and never on the road. You will note in the photos that the original hubcaps are still with the car as the GMC now has rally wheels. The original radio is also there with a very nice after market stereo installed in the dash at this time. The vehicle has also been equipped with great sounding dual exhaust. Factory Options Include: Midnight Black Exterior Paint; Black Top; Saddle Tan Interior; 5.0 Liter (305 cubic inches) V8 Engine; 4-Speed Manual Transmission; 2.73 Rear Axle; Sierra Classic Equipment; Folding Rear Seat; AM Radio; Power Brakes; Power Steering. I have tried very hard through description and photos to present this 1985 GMC Jimmy Sierra honestly and fairly.
