It’s proven to be a very reliable driver with good cosmetics. The 1600 cc engine is tight and responsive. It has a couple leaks, but nothing drastic for a vintage Alfa. The five speed transmission shifts as well as any vintage Alfa I’ve ever driven. She drives straight on the gas and on the brakes. No pulling shimmies or vibrations. The only problem I’ve had was a stater motor failure. Minor problem. Starter has been replaced. Paint is OK - about a 15 footer. The color is bright and strong, but on closer inspection it is showing some age. There are a few chips that I’ve touched up. Wheels are genuine Panasports. The top is good except for the left rear corner where it attaches to the body (see photos on flickr). It did keep me dry in a major down pore during my first drive. Recent work: new brake pads all around with new rotors in back, starter replaced, new carb mounts, generator over hauled, new battery, Pertronix electronic trigger in distributer, new spark plugs and coil, radiator boiled out, replaced front and rear muffler sections, seats re-upholstered, new carpets and rubber mats in the cockpit, new rubber mats in the trunk. I changed out the speedometer. The old speedo was showing about 73000 miles. The replacement speedo had about 20000 miles when installed and currently shows 21031. Not many options on this car, but everything works. It has an older AM/FM CD in the dash and 6X9 speakers. Nothing special but it sounds good. Head lights, parking lights, turn signals, flashers, dash lights, interior light, rear license plate lights are all working. Idiot lights for generator, vent fan, and low gas work as well. Wind shield wipers, vent fan and heater all work. Cigar lighter has power (I’ve only used it to power a Garmin Navigation system). Sorry, no cup holders. Please ask your questions before bidding. I can deliver to any pick up point with in 100 miles or so. You might consider driving it home though. I drove it over 1000 miles to get it home after I bought it last year.
