Item Description: Up for auction is my "Absolutely Red" 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S 2-door coupe, treated with tender loving care. I am the original owner of the car, and it was purchased back in March 2000 at Longo Toyota in Los Angeles. I have driven the car to work daily, but have a relatively short commute. After 10 1/2 years, the car has 85,700 miles. I am selling the car because I have ordered a new Nissan Leaf electric car and it's time to say goodbye to my beloved Toyota Celica. It's a great car, well-designed and well-built, and very peppy. Imagine yourself behind the wheel of this beauty! I have all the service records for the car (photo below). Other than routine maintenance, the only repair that the car has needed is a new oxygen sensor. Other than that, the car has been flawless, and it doesn't burn a drop of oil. It has a 6-speed manual transmission and is very fun to drive. No one has ever smoked in the car, and it has been well-taken care of. We don't get snow here in San Diego, so the car has never been driven in snow or salt. The buyer of this car will be receiving something very special. I think you'd have to look for a long time to find a car in this condition at 10 1/2 years old. There are a few small marks here and there around the car, what I would call less than normal wear for this age The rear spoiler has some peeling clear coat Front Driver side mud flap is cracked (new replacements included) One small ding on driver's door There is a smaller ding on the top of the wheel well on the front passenger side There were some small paint chips in the hood area (filled with Toyota 3PO touch-up paint) The windshield has had a small chip/star up high near the rear-view mirror for several years and it hasn't spread VIN #: JTDDY32T6Y0020316 The car was purchased new by me and has never been in an accident or had auto-body work done. After 10 1/2 years, the car has a few marks on it, but it is in really good condition for its age. There are no mechanical problems with the car whatsoever.
