I need this thing gone like yesterday!!! I am a very honest person and I will be completely strait about this truck. I purchased it a month ago with a severe misfire in the engine. The issue turned out to be a cracked cylinder head. I had both heads replaced and it ran fine. I actually just got it back on Monday evening. Tuesday I put a brand new battery in it and it drove great! Tuesday evening I opened the door and the alarm started going off. I was unable to disarm it with the key so I unhooked the battery and left it alone. I did some research online and tried again tonight with no success. I started looking under the dash and noticed an aftermarket alarm/remote start system. Thanks to the advice of a fellow ebay member, I found the little kill button under the dash and was able to disarm the alarm and start the truck. I'm guessing the system has passive arming. I would remove the system completely if I were you. All I have are two keys and no remotes. Auto electronics aren't my strong point. I would remove it myself but I would probably make it worse. I think at this point I should just sell it so here it is... The Good...The body is very clean. I could not find a single spot of rust anywhere! There are no major dents, scratches or other marks. The engine runs great now! It starts right up (used to) and idles smooth and had great power. The transmission shifts well also. The full time 4wd system works properly. This is the fairly rare 5.9L model. Inside, all the seats are in excellent shape. None of the carpets are torn. I literally drove this truck yesterday and it drove great. The Bad...Having to have a previously installed alarm is a bit of a pain but shouldn't cost too much. Three out of four tires probably won't pass inspection. There is no radio but I did buy the proper Infinity cassette/CD player that I will include with the sale since I will have no use for it. That's really it! Overall this truck is very nice. When I drove it there were no warning lights on the dash but since I had my encounter with the crazy alarm there is an ABS light on. Once I get the code I will let you know what it is for. I'm thinking it may go out once the alarm thing is sorted. It drives strait, shifts fine...the works. It holds perfect oil pressure and doesn't overheat. There is no smoke, no leaks...period. If you know what you're doing with these vehicles or know someone who does, this is a great find! I have perfect feedback as a buyer and a seller. The engine runs perfect. It idles smoothly and quietly. There are no ticks, taps, rattles or anything. It should be able to be driven or I can deliver it for a small fee if we agree on arrangements prior to bidding.
