Vehicle Detail
Several months ago I put this Jeep for sale and then changed my mind as I decided to do a Cross Country trip with it. The trip is now over and I have already bought a new Jeep so this one needs a home. It is currently located in Michigan and I apologize but I do not have the greatest pictures. The Jeep currenly has 31k miles, the 5.7 Hemi was installed at 11k so the motor and trans only have 20k miles on them. Jeep needs nothing it is turn key ready to go. Standard features include Rubicon package, power convenience group, Mygig Nav with Bluetooth, trailer tow package, Side air bags, Silver exterior with Charcoal/Grey interior. The Jeep is in excellent condition with typical used car blemishes. Interior seats are in perfect condition as they have had seat covers on them that I have removed, there are scratches on the interior plastic door and dash panels which happens to every wrangler. I also have bikini top, soft top, tonneau cover for the back storage area, wind jammer for behind the back seats when the bikini top is on, 35" BF Goodrich KM2's on AEV Pintler Wheels with plenty of tread left on them. Jeep has had all its manitanance, recent alignment, oil change, etc. A front steer kit with steering stabilizer was added at AEV's recommendation as it was not available when this Jeep's conversion was done. The rear Trackbar mount was also added for the same reason. The Jeep has the AEV expidition package with the 2.75 inch AEV tuned Suspension. The Jeep has the stock Rubicon 4.10 gears and I would not change that unless you were doing heavy wheeling on a regular basis or going to larger tires. Last service was done at 28k miles and brake life was still 50% left all the way around. I have really taken an interest in this Hemi Jeep thing so let me know if you have any questions. The Jeep also has a Blue Ox tow bar that was installed before the trip just in case of major mechanical failure or if I got sick of driving and aborted the trip. The tow bar can be removed with a welder in less than an hour, I would be happy to keep it and use it for my new vehicle. I will miss this Jeep I love it but I replaced it with another hemi Wrangler. This Jeep has never been wrecked or had any paint work, it has a clean carfax but the carfax says three owners this is not correct, I will scan it and post it when i get a moment. The motor has never burnt a quart of oil between oil changes even in the most extreme of conditions through the mountains, etc. Jeep has been off road but no mud more dirt and rocks. Just to clarify this Hemi conversion appears to have come from the factory ALL GAUGES, WARNING LIGHTS, BUTTONS, ETC WORK JUST LIKE WHEN THE 6 CLY WAS IN THE JEEP. THE ENGINE HAS NEVER THROWN AN ERROR CODE, YOU MUST SEE THIS JEEP EVERYONE GOES NUTS FOR IT WHEN THEY SEE IT IN PERSON. Serious Bidders only please and if you have any questions feel free to contact me. What is my reserve???? Keep bidding and you will find out will be my answer!! Please be advise I reserve the right to sell the Jeep locally and cancel all bids, I have added many accessories to this Jeep so if you see one in the picture that is not consistent with another pic just ask me the question. I am sorry i dont have a current odometer pic but I will add one when the car gets of the car carrier. I used to have 100% feedback some punk kid hot a buy iy now when i told him an item was sold and then paid for it and claimed I stole his money. I did nothing of the sort!! Be careful there are several Hemi conversions that have been done and to cut costs they were not done on Rubicons, BE CAREFUL. Replacement value on this Jeep as you see it with this conversion is $70k plus. I will do the deal through a Jeep dealer that I am freindly with if you prefer. On Sep-16-10 at 13:16:29 PDT, seller added the following information: THIS JEEP LIVED MOST OF ITS LIFE IN GEORGIA AND A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME IN FLORIDA SO IT HAS NOT SEEN SALTY SNOW COVERED ROADS. I KEEP GETTING QUESTIONS ABOUT DOING YOUR OWN HEMI CONVERSION. IF YOU HAVE THE COMPUTER PROGRAMMING NECESSARY THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO IT BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY ALL THE NECESSARY HARNESSES AND PLUGS ETC WHICH BY THE TIME YOU ARE DONE WILL COST MORE THAN BUYING A USED ON ALREADY DONE.
