1982 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60. This vehicle has undergone an extensive amount of restoration and custom conversation. Less than two years ago it was stripped and painted at a dealership body shop. Here is a list of everything that has been done. I probably will forget something so feel free to email me with any questions. I am selling this truck because I need to fund a new project. The miles are unknown, the odometer currently reads around 2100. The odometer was fixed and reset to zero after the restoration. Engine Chevy 350 V8 Trans 350 Automatic Eagle Alloy 15' wheels BFG 33 x 12.5 x 15 Flow Master Exhaust 2 inch lift Garvin Full Size Safari Rack Custom matching front and rear bumpers that have been powered coated. Frame has been stripped and repainted. The entire underside was undercoated at that time New tie rods, all new brake components front and rear, new bearings, rebuilt rear end, rebuilt steering box and new master cylinder. The entire interior has been replaced. New carpet, new dash, custom tach for the v8, inclinometer from australia, 2004 front seats from a Toyota tacoma. Extensive high end stereo. The stereo consist of JL Audio speakers, alpine retractable in dash touch screen TV, DLS 5 channel amp and JL audio shallow mount sub in a custom inclosure. The head liner is all new. All of the plastic interior panels have been covered in brown vinyl for a more finished look. The rear seats and door panels were recovered in 2004 toyota fabric to match theTacoma front seats. The shifter was installed to accomadate the V8. The shifter uses B&M parts so it can be removed easily. I love it but it gets mixed reviews, its a love it or hate it thing. Custom made electric acuator for power remote door lock. It has a remote start but only because it was in the kit to make it have electric door locks. The rear windows have to be lowered using a rachet due to the speakers in the rear doors. It only takes a second to lower them. This truck drives down the road great and could be driven as a daily driver. I used it as a toy and going camping. It does not have AC, I planned to put it in over the winter. I was not planning to sell this truck but like I said I came across another project I would like to do. The truck does drip a little oil. I believe it is a gasket that needs to be replaced because of being in storage most of the time. That being said the truck is very dependable and starts on the first try every time. I have extra parts including a cover, full steering colum, powder coated light gaurds (see pic) and a number others. These items will be included in the sale.
