Vehicle Detail
One-owner car since new in '95. Paid an over-sticker premium at a Rhode Island dealership to be among the first to have the new Mustang convertible - nearly $40,000. Well maintained since new, there are 17,600+ miles on the odometer - in five years - and this car still has a 'new' smell still hanging about the interior. No visible 'hand-wear' on the stick shift - even the pedal pads look new. Wicked fast at about 300hp and mated with a manual, 5spd transmission - this car is ready for a new home with a driver who can handle power and serious fun. Still, it'll comfortably seat four people and has a trunk big enough to swallow golf bags... Thus, the car also has a practical side. And, as you can see, the trunk has basically never been used. The power top is tight, intuitive to operate and has zero leaks or tears. Rims have not been curbed. No body panel ripples or dents... but there is about a 1" scratch on the passenger's side door below the handle. I will email the pic to you, as it wasn't shot with the original pics - no one noticed it until later. Bottom line is, the car looks, feels and runs new - with a tight, notchy shift feel. It was bought and has been driven solely by a non-smoking, 40yr old adult and not taken stupidly through it's paces - ever. No burn-outs, no drag racing or other abuse has been put to this car. Pull a carfax and it's clean. If you wish to make arrangements to see the car for yourself, it is located in a gated West Chester, PA community. It was inspected in May or June by strict Commonwealth of MA/Boston standards and passed without issue. Also, though we are not dealers, we are happy to help you arrange shipping - it is safer and more affordable to ship a car that you might be thinking. No need to take vacation time to drive it home, nor do you need to spent thousands to have it dropped in your driveway by a pro. I've shipped personal cars recently for a move and can help you feel comfortable about this and make recommendations. Good luck! Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any and all questions before bidding! I do require a $500 *non-refundable* deposit at auction close, so be serious if you're bidding. I prefer bank wire-transfer for the balance of the purchase price, but paypal is okay. Cash on pick-up is accepted as well. Winning bidder, please contact me at auction close so that I have an idea of timing or whether or not you'd like assistance with delivery. If you have zero feedback or feedback under 10, drop me an email before bidding. I am listing the car locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. On Sep-15-10 at 15:41:57 PDT, seller added the following information: Owned by one adult since new in 2005 - not '95. Though this is obviously a typo, it bothered me to leave it hanging. Sorry!
