Producing 325 hp and 570 lb.-ft. of torque, the F-250 pulls like nobody's business! Engine has lots of power and sounds very healthy. Runs very agressive and you can hear the turbo whistle. The transmission is near flawless and shift very smooth. Integrated trailer brake control is a necessity for big trucks and work wonders. No leaks, no smoke. It drives very straight and responds nicely to all commands. Tires are like new. The only thing it needs is an alignment, other than that, truck is as good as you can get. All the room you need. Spacious interior, comfortable seats, neat dash with vehicle information center at your fingertips. Interior is clean and in excellent condition. All features work as they should. We are driving the truck every day on the highway at 55-65 MPH and we are getting between 18 and 22 MPG. These 6.0 are selling very expensive, even at the auction because they are getting mileage compared to the newer trucks. This is a great, economic truck for work or for pleasure. The only warning light on the gauge is the ABS and we did not look further to remediate the problem - it may be a cable or sensor, nothing major. There's no rust underneath the truck, looks like it's been a southern truck (no salt). I got the truck as is on the auction and to be honest, looks like the bed was painted, but other than that, truck looks good. If I was to keep the truck, I would install a bullydog to get even more performance out of it, and get a nice chrome cover for the mirrors and a nice chrome running board. It doesn't look like the truck was abused. The truck starts every time and does not smoke a bit. There's a lot of people getting out of the new 08 f350 6.4 because most of them only get about 9 to 12mpg and are getting back to the 6.0 for being more reliable. The secret to never blow a headgasket/egr on this truck is to flush/replace the radiator fluid every 4000 miles along with air/oil filters and your truck will run forever. I used to haul boats with my brother and we had a 05 F350 6.0 dually. We put 550,000 miles on the truck. We never had to replace anything as far as transmission and engine goes. This truck runs fast and strong, you can easily burn the tires on the back with the take off power.
