Rare Early 450SL with european style slimline chrome bumpers and hubcaps rather than alloy wheels. Looks to be very original other than a repaint. Original red interior, older repaint that is decent for a driver. Soft top is old and should be replaced eventually. Hardtop is in good shape. Has been in storage for several years, but runs and drives pretty well. Will need servicing before using as an everyday vehicle. I have driven the car and it seems to run and drive fairly well though. Has good oil pressure, does not smoke. Transmission shifts well and all the gauges seem to work. I had it up to highway speeds a couple of times. Brakes are good and does not pull or lock up. Does have a hesitation when accelerating, but probably needs some injector cleaner. Overall a good looking rare car that will need some work to bring it back to its best, but has alot to like. Must be paid for within 5 days of auction end. Sold as is where is with no guarantees as to condition or suitability for any use. Buyer pays shipping, but I can get you a good deal.
