Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE!! Here is 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible body shell and chassis along with some misc. related parts. All the other parts needed for this car you see on ebay all the time or just find a cheap parts car (I will have one listed soon). I hate to do it, but I need to sell this project to be able to fund some other unfinished projects. Think for just a moment how much money a person typically has to put into the usual repair these body tubs normally need. The body panels are expensive along with the labor to make it all come together can easily cost a person over $10K. I tried to take some nice pics so you know what you’re getting so please if you have further questions CALL ME. The doors, trunk lid, and hood are all in nice shape with minimal work needed to make them perfect. There is some surface rust on the floorboards and trunk floors on the top side of the car, but nothing that can't be cleaned up and repaired. The bottom of the body looks to have been media blasted so it is detailed out nicely and has very MINIMAL surface rust. It appears that the quarter panels on each side have been replaced also. I just pulled this car out of indoor storage. The way you see this car is pretty much the same way I bought it less than 2 years ago out of California, and I did throw in a few extra parts. Someone did, what looks to me, an EXCELLENT job getting this body to the condition it is currently in. It looks like, since the parts are completely interchangeable, floor panels and trunk floor were used from a 2 door hardtop SS to repair this car (firewall/floor pan section and trunk floor are from a hardtop and all the correct convertible parts were set on top of it). When you buy floor boards and trunk pans reproduction, they are interchangeable between hardtops and convertibles anyway! It looks like original parts were used here. The entire firewall/floorboard/braces is all one complete section that is not patched together with multiple pieces which is what you would ideally want!! It looks like the powder coated CONVERTIBLE frame is very solid (frames have to be in nice shape to be powder coated by the way). The chassis doesn't have the correct rear end in it and the frame is notched out in a few places (repairable) to start to turn the car into a low rider with switches. The price I am asking for the shell/chassis is less than what you would have to pay just for replacement body/floor panels and the labor alone!! You are saving a LOT OF MONEY by doing it this way!! After this car sells I will be selling off ALL the other related parts that I picked up along the way that are pretty RARE hard to find parts so you may want to add me to your favorite seller list if you have been waiting for some nice and rare and NOS parts for a 63 Impala... I will only start to sell all the other rare parts that I have personally accumulated once the body tub/chassis sells. If you are the winning bidder I know the right people to get you ANY part for this car you may be looking for. ANY part/s... My name is Sean and please call me at 763-742-7942 on my cell phone with ANY further questions. If you are going to bid I WANT you to call me so we can make sure you are getting what you want. I would really encourage a person to come look at the car and if you like it I can arrange a buy it now price for you so you can take it back with you. This car is also for sale locally as I would like sell it as soon as possible. I can line you up with a person who hauls for a very reasonable price if you would like to make arrangements with him, but the car needs to be picked up within 2 weeks of the wining bid as I will be moving in the near future.
