This is a very nice one ton 1974 Chevrolet dually showing only 60,942 miles. The truck is very clean and a extremely good running vehicle. She has been repainted before in it's original color and looks like it was a high quality two stage (base coat/clear coat) paint. As you can see from the pictures the clear coat has started to peel in several areas. All in all she still has a very nice and honest appeal. The body is in great shape overall. There are of course minor dings and imperfections, etc. It does not look like this truck was used as a work vehicle, it looks runs and drives like it was just used as solid transportation. It has a heavy duty receiver hitch, and two solid (which appear to be) 30 gallon fuel tanks (see pictures). The transmission shifts on time through the gears. The engine does not leak, smoke, or make any unusual noises. The 454 c.i. engine w/headers sounds very healthy and idles perfectly smooth. The exhaust system sounds like it has glass packs, and has a nice deep rumble. The two front tires were recently replaced. The other four tires are all in decent condition.The (disc) brakes, steering, and suspension, all feel solid and firm. The entire drive train is very tight, and the handling is superb. The mechanical, electrical, and climate control systems all operated correctly when tested. All gauges register proper readings. Great oil pressure, and no overheating. The rare factory air conditioning will need service and does not blow cold. All of the chrome is in great condition. The front and heavy duty rear (diamond plate) bumpers are in excellent condition. Very clean engine compartment with no excessive residues. Please note: The edelbrock intake manifold.Nice original door panels. The passenger side panel is missing the pouch.Vin# CCZ344Z122772The interior is in outstanding original condition. The weave carpeting looks great. The bench seat is soft and comfortable with no tears whatsoever. The dash has a few superficial cracks, but still looks good. The windshield has a few stones chips. Beautiful original carpeting.The odometer is showing 60,942 we cannot gaurantee these are acutal miles, but they are believed to be.Good headliner/visors.As you can see in the picture there is some paint blistering on the lower driver side fender, a result of poor paint preperation.Heavy duty fuel tanks.The undercarriage is completely solid and rust free. The only metal damage is below the battery where acid has eaten through the metal, and some imperfection in the bed towards the right rear (see pic).
