This is a beautiful 1974 Volkswagen Special Edition Beetle that has been in the family since it left the dealership and has been meticulously cared for ever since. It turns heads wherever it goes and draws lots of smiles, praise, and comments from people everywhere. There is no better feeling than driving a beautiful classic beetle. This car is #372 as indicated on the original invoice; only a handful of these were made and delivered to each dealership. The five digit odometer currently reads 9,000 miles but it rolled over several years ago so actual mileage on the title is exempt. I had the original motor replaced with a brand new 1776cc engine and a genuine Weber carburetor. The engine and carb have less than 3,500 miles. I misplaced the receipts and have no interest in looking for them so please bid accordingly. This vehicle has always been garage kept and is in immaculate condition for its age. This car has plenty of power-- the new 1776cc four-cylinder air-cooled engine, which provides more horsepower. Like all VW Beetle engines, it is mounted in the rear to provide traction for the rear wheels. It also has a brand new full VDO dash- tach, oil pressure, oil temp, clock, and voltmeter. Car drives and stops great with the disc brakes in front. Other new features for the 1970's Beetle were larger turn signals, larger tail lights with side reflectors on the housing, dual air intake slots on the engine lid, and reconfigured third and fourth gears on the transmission. In addition, a buzzer sound alerts drivers when the doors are left open and the key is left in the ignition. Standard factory features include swiveling sun visors, coat hooks, assist straps, an automatic windshield washer, an overhead light, luggage space under the front hood and in a three-foot carpeted compartment behind the rear seats. Everything on the vehicle works as it should: headlights, turn signals, windshield wipers, etc. This car is pure classic Beetle. This vehicle looks and drives GREAT. The 1776cc engine runs like a champ. It accelerates powerfully and smoothly through every gear. The tires are almost brand new and look terrific. I trust this car to take me anywhere, and it's pure eye candy. Synthetic blend oil changes have been done every 3,500 miles so it should go another 40 years with no problems. This car is very easy to maintain for the do-it-yourself auto owner. The Ravenna Green exterior looks beautiful and the body is very straight with absolutely no dents! It just has cosmetic blemishes that are only visible from 6 inches away. The black trim on the vehicle looks great for its age. The black and white interior is in fabulous condition with no tears, rips or fading on either the seats, headliner or panels. This Florida vehicle has always been garage kept and is Rust Free! The pictures do this car no justice! If you live in the area, I encourage you to see it in person. You will be very impressed. It is NOT a brand new car but for being 40 years old, it's in fantastic shape! This can easily be turned into a trailer queen. This is a very reliable vehicle that will make a great daily driver.
