This frame-on restoration can be driven daily or just kept for weekend car shows. . . Here are the details for this vette: This vette was born on November 30, 1972 (D30) in St. Louis, MO. It features a healty dose of options including factory air and custom interior trim which makes it a real collectable.1972 was the last year of the dual chrome bumpers and removable rear window. Truly a unique and collectable Stingray at an affordable price with low reserve. INTERIOR: This car has trim option 421 which is the dark saddle deluxe leather trim (only 3,481 cars came with this trim selection in 1972). The custom interior trim also featured leather seats, wood grain center console, carpet and wood grain door panels. The interior is in excellent condition featuring new carpet, new leather upolhostry, dash pad and no cracks in the door panels. All guages have been rebuilt and are in perfect working condition. Mechanical oil pressure was converted to an electric guage (to prevent notorious oil leaks behind the dash). Even the clock works perfectly! Updated (digital) AM-FM radio to look like original. Includes IPOD link. Extensive work was done on the factory installed AC and the air blows seriously cold. Additionally, heat / sound insulation was installed throughout the cab helping reduce road noise and engine heat in the cab. EXTERIOR: She retains the original Elkhart Green (972) color and has been recently painted to perfection. Chrome is in great shape. All vacuum powered lights and wiper door are working perfectly. Frame and bird cage is in great shape with no rust. Fairly new Dunlop tires, with deep tread. ENGINE / TRANSMISSION 350 ci V8 with 200hp. Rebuilt engine has less than 1,000 miles on it. No smoke, starts with no problem and holds idle. Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission rebuilt in 2009 and shifts clean and crisp. SUSPENSION / BRAKES This corvette drives like a dream. Steering is tight with no play and holds a straight line while driving.
