This is a 1963 Mack B68. It has a 540 cid gasoline engine, and a 10 speed transmission. It has a single axle. It runs and drives well. The carb was just rebuilt. I bought the truck about a year ago and have been working on it some, but have come across another truck I want to buy, and cannot keep both. The body does not have any rust thru, and most of the sheet metal is dent-free. The back of the cab has some dents and will need some work to be straightened. The floors are solid. The interior is fair. The tachometer is missing it's needle; all the other gages seem to work. I replaced the door locks and the ignition, so they are all keyed the same and work. The tires are fair. The exhaust is good. The drivers side vent window is cracked. The wiring/electrical seems to be in good shape...everything pretty much works. One of the taillights was smashed when I had the truck towed to my house. The truck is an excellent project, and I don't believe that too much work is needed to at least make it a driver. My plan was to perform the body work, my Dad was going to paint it for me, and then I was just going to drive it, but again I'm going to buy another truck. I have the fifth wheel, mirrors, and original gas tanks for it too.
