Excellent running, Low milage (for a diesel) pickup truck. I bought this truck about 5 years ago on ebay and used it very little--about 10000 miles. I bought it to tow a sissor lift around--I own a construction business--but on the second job someone stole my sissor lift and mostly used it once in a while for hauling. I am shutting down my construction business and liquidating all my assets now. THE GOOD: Someone at one time put a WHOLE lot of money into it-- custom center console, custom wood interior accents, air bag suspension, complete billet grill, SOLID aluminum billet wheels, boot-through topper, Limo-tinted windows--ALL COMPLETELY carpeted bed--including roof of topper. I don't how to check but am pretty sure someone installed a lowering kit on the whole truck. I personally have done-- Complete internal diesel fuel pump and all new glow plugs AT THE DEALER last year--they took me for $2700 (It broke down out of state) It RUNS excellent, in fact it seems QUICKER than typical chevy diesels I've driven. A prior owner may have tweaked it for better performance but again I bought it on Ebay so I don't know for sure. I bought new front seats for it last year. Rebuilt the rear end late last year. New front brakes last year. Transmission service this year. Regular oil changes. THE BAD: Its a 15 year old truck with original paint and some surface rust--NO HOLES. It cleans up fair but could really use new paint. Tires aren't the best but aren't the worst. My wife clipped a drive-thru last year on the passanger side and needs a dually fender--see pictures Dash is cracked. Windshield is cracked. NO STEREO system or speakers. There is something wrong with the tach and speedometer--it shows roughly double the actual speed. It was like that when I bought it so I have always used a GPS unit to tell me my speed. I could never get a clear answer from a mechanic other than to replace the cluster ($100-200 on Ebay) It DOES NOT affect the running of the truck. The wipers only go fast or off--no other speeds. The climate control only goes full blast or off--I was told this a common problem and needs a new climate controller ($50-200 on Ebay) Air needs recharged. The tailgate handle is broken but still operates to open and close. One of the airbags broke at where it was welded to the frame and needs to be re-welded back on--I still have the airbag. The truck still drives fine on the leaf springs but just doesn't have the helper airbag. I have tried to be completely honest with all its faults. On Sep-03-10 at 05:55:33 PDT, seller added the following information: More history on this--I bought this truck on Ebay in 05 and picked it up in Arizona and really haven't driven it much up north so it has avoided the rusting common up here. The hood and roof does have some sun damage to the clear coat--9 years of its life in Arizona. There is a small hole in the hood--about the size of a dime where something punched through the sheet metal. It is NOT a rust-out ALL the sheet metal on this truck is SOLID. I replaced the starter last year prior to the internal fuel injection pump. It starts on the FIRST try EVERY time even in the dead of winter. It is TWO WHEEL DRIVE.
