The check engine light is on and I have been told by a local repair shop (Good News Garage, Cambridge, MA as featured on NPR as Click & Clack) that the car is in need of a cam shaft. Their quoted price for the cam shaft is approximately $2100. I just recently had the oil changed and the car is in perfect working order other than the needed cam shaft. I drive the car everyday. However, the check engine light is on and the car will not pass inspection due to the check engine light. *Please also not the damage to the right rear of the car. Directly above the right rear tire, the car was scrapped against a metal support beam in a parking garage. There is no rust but the paint does need to be fixed. *Also in photos, please note that the right rear reflector is broken and there are some superficial scuff marks to the paint. This occured from basic use and occasionally being parked on a busy street. Primarily, the car is garaged in a parking garage. *I have recently moved to the city and no longer need a car. I am looking to get rid of the car quickly. * Please be aware that the car does still have a loan on it and I will need the money from the sale of the car to pay off the loan and receive the title.
