1969 Mercedes Benz 280 SL W113 Chassis Pagoda 6 cylinder Beige in Color, Blue Interior Coupe with Roadster Top This vehicle is a one family owner since purchased in 1969. It has been in storage for the last 11 years. We are currently driving the vehicle in town. This is a Classic Mercedes that needs TLC, but runs well and is in fairly nice condition. The soft top needs to be replaced. Power steering does not work, and the air and heater are not working (may be simple wiring). The carpet/floor mats have been pulled out. 4-speed auto transmission works, but is not silky smooth. The car has a new coil. The odometer reads 52,968, but has turned. Rust issues: a few rust issues which can be set right include a few holes in rocker panels, passenger floor board (right front) has rusted through, surface rust in trunk, but all suspension points are good and frame is good. The driver's seat needs repair on upper left (has tape in photo). Gauges and lights, turn signals, brakes, and dash are all working. Air is after-market. Pagoda top in excellent shape, all glass is in excellent shape and intact. The vehicle has clear title-no warranty. Transportation for the vehicle arranged and paid for the buyer. The car is being sold as-is and where-is. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of the auction.
