For sale is a 1987 El Camino SS very heavy optioned and very low miles. This is a very rare car only 861 were made at Choo Choo customs for Chevy. How many are left, how many are real? This car had to be serialized and emission certified, it has the badge on the door from Choo Choo Customs. Please read on I will give you all the details I know about this car. This car runs, drives, shifts, handles and stops like it was new. The engine is the newer style centerbolt heads 305 HO same as in the SS Monte Carlo of the same year. It has a floor shift automatic and G80 Rear axle posi track. Driveline is factory stock with the exception of dual exhaust with a crossover pipe. The a/c blows cold and there is no known problems. Exterior looks to be factory untouched, there are small rock chips but no sign of a repaint, has a nice shine and looks original. I would give it a 9 out of a 10 and paint in 1987 was not the best. (I have had several Grand Nationals and Monte Carlo SS cars) This paint looks great maybe since choo choo customs had the car it came out better. Interior is as nice as the exterior I will give it a solid 9 out of a 10 (only because there is a small crack in rt. edge of the dash) All lights work inside and out, has all options except a tach (I have one that goes with the sale). Doorlocks, windows, cruise, a/c, radio, signals, wipers all work. It has a floor shifter, bucket seats, tilt, cruise, the spare is untouched. I have all the books, manual and brochure that go with this car.
