Safari windows open, radio up full blast... ready for cruising! Interior / Exterior The exterior is complete with aluminum Deluxe trim wrapped around the beltline, chrome safari windows. Safaris are great for letting in the cool breeze when driving or hanging out. All exterior seals were replaced several years ago, and still do a great job of sealing up the bus against rain. The glass has been tinted dark, so the interior stay cool when sunny. The paint is in less than fair condition, with several areas of corrosion in the usual places. Inside, there's a new steering wheel, carpeting all around, a homemade sleeper in the back with built in pillow, and a custom sunroof... a tinted plexiglass sunroof! No leaks there. One key operates all locks and ignition switch. There is a stereo/CD player installed with 4 speakers. Mechanics Powered by a 1600 dual port engine that was rebuilt approximately 400 miles ago, she starts right up and runs great. The rest of the mechanics are in fair condition. We'd recommend a basic brake job, and new transmission mounts. She drives straight, brakes straight, and shifts into all gears without grinding or popping out of gear. Electrical appears to be fine, with all lights working properly. This is a decent starter Bus, or a candidate for restoration.
