Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This truck is a perfect example of a well maintained Missouri Barn Find! This truck is an excellent daily driver, but has the potential to be a whole lot of other things as well. This truck could be a cool show truck, awesome hot rod if you lowered it, or pretty much anything you can dream up. It is the perfect example of a reliable blank canvas that has the potential to be your dream truck! The previous owners had the truck in their family for over thirty years, and always kept it in the barn when they were not using it to work on their farm. The previous owner painted the truck its current Wimbledon White color; installed a new motor, 4spd transmission, and a stereo. This truck runs like a champ. It starts effortlessly every time and cruises along like it is brand new. It is an extremely reliable vehicle and I would drive it across the country without worry. The engine is a 300 cubic inch inline six. It was replaced a few years ago and doesn’t have all that many miles on it since the previous owners only really drove it to town and back once in a while for the last couple of years. The engine is coupled to a top-loader 4 speed transmission that works well. The truck also has the much desired Ford 9” rear end. An interesting fact is that out of the factory when comparing the 300ci inline six to the 302ci V8, the inline six makes more torque at the crank than the V8. The interior on this truck is in pretty good shape. This truck is equipped with an aftermarket cassette player. I usually just hook up my cassette Ipod adaptor to it which works really well. This truck also has new front tires put on this month, and the back tires are in great condition. When the front tires were put on the truck was also aligned. It has new cab mount bushings, new steering bushings etc. It runs straight and drives nicely. The glass on this truck is superb. I had the front windshield replaced this month to pass inspection. The windows roll up and down smoothly and are crystal clear. All of the lights and turn signals work like they are supposed to as well. Overall, this truck is an excellent vehicle that can be reliably driven anywhere. It definitely is a head turner and people will be given you thumbs up all the time! This truck is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it is sold locally. If you have any questions or want to come see the truck don't hesitate to call at 708-275-1094.
