I have a 1996 GMC 3500HD for sale. It is a very dependable and strong truck. I really hate to get rid of it but I have decided to go back to school and need the additional funds. With that said, the money I make off this truck will help support my family while I am in school. The truck has 153k miles on it and has a 7.4L/454 c.i. engine with a 5 speed tranny. It has a NV4500 which is a very strong tranny (same 5 speed Dodge used behind the Cummings in their heavy duty pickups). I just recently put in a new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearings, pilot bearings, slave cylinder, and dual exhaust. It also has a new starter. It has a welding bed with drop-in tool boxes and is ready for work. The bed has a place for your bottles and plenty of room for an air compressor and welding machine. The truck was bought as a cab and chasis so it is not an ordinary dually. From my understanding it has a heavier duty suspension with the capability to tow more. It is also equipted with 19.5" tires and rims which are made to tow heavier loads. I also have two additional rims that will be included with the truck.
