Vehicle Detail

Beautiful 1967 Chev ElCamino. This Camino spent most of its life in dry Central Oregon. Just prior to my purchasing it, the previous owner installed a fresh 1967 325 hp 396 and a 1967 Chev TH400 trans. Both operate fantastic. The engine was broken in properly, is smoke-free, and runs strong. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, and original AM radio still in place. Steering wheel is also original equipment. Very stock, original appearance inside and out. As you will see in the pictures, new carpet, door panels, dash pad, seat upholstery, etc. have been installed, and it all looks very nice. The Camino has a fairly new paint job, and it looks very good also. Body, chassis, etc. are all very rust-free, and there does not appear to have been any previous body damage or replacement of sheetmetal. Take a good look at the pictures of the bed. It's in fantastic condition. The wheels are new GM Rally Wheels; tires are 235/60-15 on front, 295/50-15 on the rear, and were new when the wheels were purchased and installed. This combination gives the car a great stance and look. Needed steering and suspension repairs/upgrades were completed during the process of making improvements to this great vehicle. It runs down the road at 35 or 80 miles per hour very well. Steering is tight, suspension is in great shape. Recently installed a new original-equipment-replacement big block radiator, which keeps her running cool. As you might expect, it has dual exhaust, which sounds pretty healthy. Pretty decent thump to it. The ElCamino has a Rockford Fosgate sound system that will rock the house if you want it to. Control unit was tastefully installed under the dash to retain stock appearance of the interior. Bumpers are in very nice condition; grille and other brightwork/trim pieces are all in very presentable condition. Speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge all work great. Headlights, turn signals, running lights, glove box light, etc. all work fine. I've driven this beauty on several 150 mile round trips, and it's performed beautifully with no issues. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it on a much longer trip. Everything works great. I've also driven it in city traffic on some 90 degree days, and it stays cool. I believe you'll be very pleased with quality of this Camino, both mechanically and cosmetically. I welcome any questions you may have. Thank you for looking.
