Up today we have a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro convertible that needs a little help to be road worthy again. It was in an accident a while ago and because it was hit in the pillar at the door and it's a convertible the car was totaled. The car was rebuilt and reinspected as road worthy and was issued a reconstructed Pennsylvania title. The repairs that were done are okay but not body shop perfect but when I bought it I just bought it as a weekend toy so it didn't bother me that it still needed some bondo work and a new paint job. On top of the body work the driver's side window goes up and down but you need to help it on the way up to make sure it stays in the track or it will go a little crooked and the door won't close right. The convertible top is power and you push the button. The problem with the top is when you are putting it down you have to manually push on the top for a second to make sure one of the bars sits in the right place (because one of the bars is broken). The top goes up and down fine and the top does not leak (although it's not in perfect cosmetic shape) but you have to push it only on the way down for it to seat properly in the open position. The driver's side seat is worn at the seam. The radio was pulled and put in my other car but the speakers are still in the car. The dash has a large crack in it. The rest of the interior is in okay shape but needs a monster sized cleaning. The front left fender is plastic and is painted but is not the same paint color as the rest of the car (and is not in 100% perfect shape, but maybe an 8 out of 10). The pillar at the passenger door has a patch piece but really should have a new piece cut and welded for 100% perfection. The spoiler is a different color red than the rest of the car. The rear bumper has a crack in it. The car is equipped with a/c but it blows warm. The car does not have a battery in it because I took it out last weekend to use in another car but I can put one in long enough to show you that it runs and to drive it on a trailer. The tires and wheels are in good shape. The automatic transmission shifts great. Now, the reason I'm selling the car: I think that it has a blown head gasket. The car is running hotter than it should. One day the radiator cooling fan stopped working so I hard wired it to a switch on the dash but it still runs hot. It's not running rough, the engine is not noisy, and there is no water in the oil but it runs hot after about five minutes of driving so I don't even drive it anymore. It has never over heated on me but I don't want to take a chance or deal with it as it's car number four and I would rather just sell it and get it off my insurance. This is a NO RESERVE auction so if you are the high bidder you win and you are LEGALLY bound to complete the sale and to pay me the money. I am not forcing you to bid but if you bid I expect payment to be made via a deposit of $200 by paypal within 48 hours of the end of the auction and the balance to be paid by paypal or by cash prior to the vehicle leaving my driveway. I will not ship the car for you so don't ask. If you want to pay me 50 cents per mile I will deliver the car to you within 250 of Pottsville, PA. If you are further away I will deliver it for $1.00 per mile between 251 and 500 miles from Pottsville, PA. Further than that and we can talk about the price but it will be very expensive for you if you want me to do it.
