Up for auction is a very fun weekend cruiser, a 1963 Chevrolet Impala Belair. Before we get into the description This car will require a deposit of $250.00 within 24hrs of the end of the auction and payment in full within 5 days of end of auction. There is a $150 document and file transfer fee on top of the final auction price, You will also be responsible for any applicable taxes and title work for your state. We can provide you with a 30 day temporary tag if needed as well. Ok, now for the fun part. This "down in the weeds" 63 Belair is not a show car beauty queen but not a Rat Rod either, Very complete with original drivetrain, Runs great and drives very well. It lets you know it's a lowrider on rough roads with a bouncy ride. The original 283 fires right up every time and runs excellent, Does not smoke or use any fluids. 90k actual miles on the car. A three owner car and was turned into lowrider status by it's second owner who aquired the car from his Grandfather who bought it new. It has all of the dealer and factory owners books and literature included. It is an automatic 2 speed powerglide that shifts great. The car was repainted way back in the mid 70's and shows some areas of bubbling along the bottom of the doors and the rear wheel lip The paint has a soft satin sheen and is obviously not like showroom with some scratches , scrapes and chips.. Not bad for a 1963 and work that was done 30+ years ago! Car is complete with very nice trim and chrome, not like new but perfect for a "driver" and occasional cruise in. The interior on the car is in great condition for its age. The seat covers you are looking at are the original factory pieces!, they are in excellent condition and have no rips or tears! They were covered with protective covers early on in its life and still have the lower protective covers with it. Dash and all of its items are very nice and fully functional. Headliner is all in tact, original carpet is dirty / faded, Front door panels are split on the lower portions of them, (does not show when doors are closed) It has a Sony CD player with 6 X 9 deck speakers and Sony 100 watt amplifier. Now to the unique feature of this car, A complete "Reds" 6 switch hydraulic system, A clean installation, and if needed can be removed and an original style shock and spring can be installed to put the car back to stock. The suspension and A arms were not chopped or cut and can be put back to stock very easy if desired. The pumps and relays were checked and they do run and cycle, However the 8 marine batteries in the trunk do not hold a charge. They went dead and apparently froze over the winter and the batteries will all need replaced for the system to function and "hop" the car. The 6 switch system allows for independent control on any wheel you choose. The car is ready to go as is and use for cruisin, or it would be a perfect start for a show stopping Custom Lowrider. This would be a very easy restoration project or just enjoy it as is and have some fun. It definitely draws attention and really turn heads when you hit the horn, It is a 6 trumpet air system that plays "The Godfather" theme. Pull in and pop the hood to let everyone view the clean underhood factory V8. Tires were replaced recently and have 95% tread, new master cylinder and brake work, new fuel pump, new ignition points/ cap rotor. A fun piece for not a lot of cash.
