This is great car and I hate to see it go, but time to get a family sedan...two kids now! It is fast, powerful and handles like a true sports car. The car is in great physical condition as you will see from the photos. I am the first and only owner. Always took care of it - never missed a recommended service (which were always done by the dealer). Always stayed on top of oil changes. Tires have great tread (see photo). Interior is in great condition. You will not believe it's a '99. Mostly used the car to get to work and to drive locally. Also, has a Security System. Although car is in great physical condition, THERE IS AN ISSUE. The Check Engine light is currently on and it is burning oil faster than I would expect. There is a clear vibration when driving and it is very obvious when idling. I ran some diagnostics at the dealer and they are getting a reading that there is "low pressure in one of the cylinders." Since I needed a new car anyway (I bought another Acura, by the way), I did not pursue the troubleshooting. The car is sold as is. You should check it out and/or bring your mechanic before the auction closes. I do not know what is causing the issue. If you are good with cars, buy it and fix it. A few weeks ago, it was driving perfectly. Other issues: Standard wear and tear exterior dings. There is a scrape on the passenger side mirror and the front bumper where it has scraped a high curb. There is a small hole in center console where there was an alarm LED light. Ebay doesn't seem allow me to change two standard features above so just to correct their specs - both seats are manual and car has a great glass moonroof (not sunroof). SO Please be aware that this car WILL NOT PASS A SMOG TEST UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED. BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS and I will ask you to sign a DMV Form REG256 "Statement of Fact" acknowledging that you knew this when you bought the car. I spoke to 2 different DMV clerks by phone and that is what they both suggested. You would then get it fixed, smog checked and re-registered.This is still a great car! Hope you are still interested.
