PLEASE READ ALL INFO CAREFULLY! THE GOOD: - I am the Second owner of this car - 90% of the miles are all highway miles - I have a folder full of receipts from the previous owner - I have maintained the car regularly since we purchased it because it was our main family car (only reason I am selling is because we already have 3 cars) - The Motor Burns NO oil and there are no drips in my driveway. It also starts right up even when it is 10 bellow. The motor runs well, It is very quiet and has good power still. - The Transmission shifts very well and smooth. It was serviced about 10K miles ago and there are no noises when shifting or idling. Also no drips. - The Front Brakes and Rotors were just replaced. I will look for the paper work on that since I did the work But I have photos on my cell phone of the work... - The coolant Over Flow Reservoir was just replaced. Again I will look for that reciept I did the work - Front Tires have were replaced about 12K miles ago. - I Put a Serpentine Belt on about a year ago. Not a cheepo, a Gatorback. - A/C works - It has had a new catalytic converter, A new fuel line, new brake lines, re-manufactured Computer, Oxygen bank one sensor and a bunch of other things done by the previous owner, including Camshaft sensor, Fuel Pump, fuel filter, even the Transmission Range control sensor was replaced. Oh yeah newer battery too. THE BAD: - The STRUTS need to be replaced, all 4 of them. (I sold the set on eBay when we got the other car - I was going to install them - sorry!) They clunk a a bit but the car can be driven anywhere. - The rubber around the windows is washed out from the sun. I try to keep armor-all on them. - The electric side mirrors don't work. I believe the plug was left off when the window was fixed in the drivers door. - The dash is a little warped from the sun, no cracks yet. - The back Deck is not rotted but is fading from sun - The cassette deck doesn't work, I just used my FM modulator and Ipod..... radio still works - Very small exhaust leak when catalytic converter was put in, just needs to be tightened, I can show you where it is. - Key ignition switch a bit sticky - Rear tires are ok but not great and did I say It needs STRUTS - but can be driven as is. - Could use some spark plugs soon but idles very smoothly and finally the drivers side mirror has a crack in it THE UGLY: - The Taraus played chicken with a dear. It Left a nasty little dent in front and bulged the hood a bit. No internal parts were damaged just cosmetic - A bicycle fell into the door... I know.... bad job of touch up but you get the rest of the paint. - Paint weak on back bumper and the car has it's share of scratches and dings if you look close. Just trying to be honest. - A crack in the diver side mirror from that same bike (all the parts for this car are cheap on eBay anyway but the car is just fine as is. I am just picky and wanted to fix the few things left over that I didn't' get too. It's a good old car and is very comfortable, please take a very close look at the photos and notice the back seat has been used by kids. The interior is in good shape considering the age. I hope it goes to a good home, I believe the motor has a lot of miles left in it. NO warranty implied on this vehicle, $500 deposit due at end of bid via PayPal.
