Vehicle Detail
We are getting ready to move and so we are getting rid of extra stuff. This is a 72 Nova. It has no power options except P/S. It is a project car that needs to be finished. The engine is out of a 1964 Corvette Coupe, 360 HP 327. Has headers, a mild cam, roller rockers, an Aufenhouser Port-o-sonic from about the same period, a crappy stock point distributer, and a Holley double pumper. It runs pretty good except if you try to wind it up too much, the old point distributer can't keep up. The heads are also date coded 1964, 461 castings. The trans is an automatic, th350. It has a shift kit and shifts very solid. It has centerline wheels with new tires. Exhaust is just some glasspacks on the headers, kind of loud. Paint looks good but is nowhere near perfect. Gets lots of attention though. The interier is complete but could use some help. The drivers seat back has a tear and the back seat back needs recovered due to sun damage. The dash has the typical cracks. The heater controller is missing the knobs. The heater core I think might be starting to leak as I can smell coolant from the heater vents when I start it in the morning. No radio. The door panels are present but could use recovering. And, the passenger wing window needs repair of the hinge. Glass is all good. It runs, steers, stops, and can be used as a daily driver while finishing the work it needs. I have been driving it with no problems. I have a clear reconstructed title in my hand. It is a reconstructed title due to being rear ended many years ago. The only damage was the rear panel between the tail lights which was repaired without replacing the rear panel metal. This means hammered out and then filler, and then painted. If you want to replace the rear panel with new metal they cost about a hundred bucks. The only rust I can find is a small spot in the trunk that is about the size of a baseball, see the pic of the trunk floor. The quarters look solid, rockers, floors too. Hmmm, what else? I am trying to describe it as best I can since most of you can't whip over and take a look. Milage is just what the odometer shows, don't have a clue what actual is. The shift down linkage is not connected to the carb because the port-o-sonic manifold has too big of intake runners and the bracket wont bolt up, so I just shifted if manually. Can't think of anything else, if I do I will add it to the description. Deposit by Paypal, remainder due in cash when you pick her up. It is a fun car to drive around, thats for sure. Its got to go, can't take it with me. Please feel free to ask questions and request additional photos. I will also try to make a video of it as well. Just like any used car, it has no warranty. ;)On Aug-21-10 at 17:16:55 PDT, seller added the following information: All funds must clear before the vehicle will be released if you are arranging shipping on you end and you are out of the area. Which, by the way, is the only way you can have it shipped.
