1983 AMC Eagle Wagon 4x4 258 Inline 6 Motor. This is a solid Eagle with a great interior and a good strong running motor. The four wheel drive works great and engages with no problems. The carburetor could use some tuning because it doesn't like to idle when cold. It is a pretty typical problem with the Carter BBD carb. Probably needs the idle tubes cleaned out. The 258 is such a good running motor in here, we put an aluminum valve cover on since the factory plastic one was leaking. In the past two years I have replaced the fuel pump, radiator, real wheel cylinders, rear brake lines, master cylinder, alternator, and a few other minor fixes along the way. When i bought this car six years ago it was a one owner vehicle, and I have service records, and receipts from the 120000 miles before i had it, including the window sticker!! It has very good tires on the car now, and we just put them on (they are not the whitewalls pictured, as they leaked air). Everything inside works and only has one small crack in the windshield.. We included some winter pictures because this car is awesome in the snow!! With just a little bit of work in the carb, this Eagle would be awesome! I drove it for 4 years everyday and then had to leave it sit for a year which is when the carb issue appeared. There is rust on the car but not severe by any means. Thanks for looking!!
