LOW RESERVE!!!!!!! 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe restored by professional body shop owner. The restoration was completed in 1997 and stored in a heated garage ever since. This gorgeous coupe has an off-white exterior and burgundy interior. Has the original rebuilt 200 C.I. straight six engine (bullet-proof!!!) The floor shifter is mated to an automatic Cruise-O-Matic transmission. The body panels are in excellent condition with just a few minor imperfections. The paint shines like new (see pics) and the car shows very well, earning trophies at local cruises. There are a few small bubbles on the lower drivers door and the driver rear pillar has a very small bubble. The chrome is in excellent overall shape with just a few spots of surface corrosion. The interior is like new with the exception of a few cracks in the original steering wheel. As with most 44 year old cars, there are a few issues- the fuel and temperature guages work intermittently and the self-canceling right turn signal does not cancel. There may be other issues, but nothing apparent. The radio is from an older Mustang, but not a 66. Included are receipts for parts (body and mechanical) for over $4000(no labor). Engine and transmission where also rebuilt. Last year new wheel cylinders and a new master cylinder where installed. Tires are very good. Also has a newer battery and alternator. The starter is new just because I had an extra new one. The frame looks like it was undercoated and shows some rusting. Also included are restoration pics, original brochures, owners manual and 1966 Massachusetts license plates. I recently drove the car on the Mass. Turnpike for 130 miles round-trip averaging 70 mph with no problems. This 1966 Ford Mustang is being sold as-is, where-is with no warranty, express or implied. Buyer is responsible for pick-up.
