Looking to sell my 1990 Nissan 240sx SE 5spd coupe. Ive owned the car for about 4 years and kept it in stock form. It just hit 280k miles. Previous owner said all the miles were highway, car is clean and it does show it... no major rust. Probably 1 year ago i purchased an SR20det Red Top motorset to swap in. While i performed the swap i cleaned the engine bay and took care of any light rust i could see. Frame rails i covered with POR-15 rust preventive paint. The entire front subframe i also painted with POR-15 just to be safe. Here is a list of all the work i did while performing the swap... -Red top SR20det engine/trans with ~40k miles -ACT clutch kit -Fidanza flywheel -OEM S15 waterpump -Circuit sports RAS(rocker arm stopper) -KOYO aluminum radiator -Circuit sports silicone radiator hoses -FMIC -HKS blow off valve -Turbo XS MBC at @12 psi -Aluminum accessorie pullies -Stock turbo with SS braided lines -Megan Racing exhaust manifold and o2 housing -3inch downpipe to full 3inch Apexi dual N1 exhaust -Poly motor and trans mounts -TEIN drop springs with stock shocks up front and KYB AGX rears(1 month old rears) -Welded rear end. -Autometer boost guage -Pioneer head unit -New rotors and pads all 4 corners -Poly bushings on steering rack and steering column -New inner and outer tie rod ends -Front and rear strut bars -New OEM oil pan -255 fuel pump -Dual DSM electric fans -Basic mantence, oil changes, spark plugs, 300zx fuel filter. Thats pretty much it for mods/maintence. Now here are the things i find wrong with it.... -No AC... car came with factory AC but i removed everything related in the engine bay. -P/S is there and works but there is a small leak where one of the hard lines screws into the rack, i think some telfon tape should seal it. -Undercarriage is very clean, but there was a 2x3 inch hole in the fram rail(nothing crazy) and i cleaned/painted/por-15 that area and screwed a metal plate so it looks decent. Everything else is solid.. i know or i wouldnt of wasted my time swapping this motor in. -Front fender/bumper has some light damage to it. -Passenger rear 1/4 panel has a nice dent that definitly could be pulled out. -Sunroof area had a small rust spot that i cleaned up and put some body filler to fix it.. looks decent. -Passenger door lock just started to not work... i havent messed with it as i just noticed it. -Front windsheild has some nice chips in it. -HUD works after about 10 minutes -RPM tach doesnt work.. i never swapped in the DOHC unit to make it work. -Interior is factory blue, but drivers seat was worn, installed a stock s13 seat thats a tan/brown color. -Front brakes squeak sometimes, could just them breaking in since there recently new. Thats probably it. Car drives really good, i have no hesitation driving it and ive been taking it everywhere. The SR motor does pull nice and feels smooth. Compression is within spec, i believe around 160 across the board. In the pictures it shows 2 base model wheels on the rear of the car, those are included as in another set of 91-94 SE wheels and the stock SE teardrop wheels. Selling this car because i have 2 other cars to play with. Title is CLEAR and in MY name. Please view pictures for imperfections... these are RECENT pictures.
