Vehicle Detail
Second owner 1963 Ford Falcon Futura, built in 1962. National Concours Winner. First place National Falcon Club "Most Original", second overall at the Lime Rock Park Vintage Festival "most original", many other regional awards. This is an unrestored, unmodified car originally purchased by a Chesire, CT woman who, years later when she was 91 years old, sold it to the current owner with just 17,000 miles on it. It has never been used in either rain or snow and has always been garaged and dealer maintained from day one. The original owner was sure that she had never used the trunk (there isn't even a scratch in the trunk liner, which is original) and doubted if the rear seat had ever been sat in. There is absolutely no rust and no bondo. None. It is an unusual configuration, with factory bucket seats, center console and a 3 speed manual transmission The current owners are automotive enthusiasts and have carefully maintained the car. The Falcon now has 37,937 miles on it, mostly from being driven to and from car shows. This is a show car but it's not just a trailer queen. It has always been perfectly reliable.
