What can I say about this car? It's practically brand new. Paid an over-sticker premium at a Rhode Island dealership to be among the first to have the new Mustang convertible - nearly $40,000. But now, I have to have a family car for a bunch of kids and your loss is my gain. Well maintained from new, this car is nearly without flaw. In fact, I can't point out any actual flaws to photograph for this ad, except that there is dust on the dashboard when I shot the picture of the odo. 17,600+ miles on the odometer - in five years - and this car still has a 'new' smell still hanging about the interior. No visible 'hand-wear' on the stick shift - even the pedal pads look new! Wicked fast at about 300hp and mated with a manual, 5spd transmission - this car is ready for a new home with a driver who can handle power and serious fun. Still, it'll comfortably seat four people and has a trunk big enough to swallow golf bags... Thus, the car also has a practical side. And, as you can see, the trunk has basically never been used. The power top is tight, intuitive to operate and has zero leaks or tears. Red paint is flawless, as are the rims. No body panel ripples or dents... This car looks, feels, runs and *is* basically brand new - with a tight, notchy shift feel. It was bought and has been driven solely by a non-smoking, 40yr old adult and not taken stupidly through it's paces - ever. No burn-outs, no drag racing or other abuse has been put to this car. Simply put, you will not find a better example of a '05 Mustang GT Convertible anywhere out there - eBay or otherwise. I stand by that. If you wish to make arrangements to see the car for yourself, it is located in a gated West Chester, PA community. It was inspected in May or June by strict Commonwealth of MA/Boston standards and passed without issue. Also, though I am not a dealer, I am happy to help you arrange shipping - it is safer and more affordable to ship a car that you might be thinking. No need to take vacation time to drive it home, nor do you need to spent thousands to have it dropped in your driveway by a pro. On Aug-17-10 at 11:37:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I need to note that I noticed a scratch on the door near the passenger door handle that is about 3/4" to 1" long. It's minor and not dented - I simply didn't notice it before. Though it isn't serious, I felt that I must disclose this discovery. I will be posting a photo of the scratch today, if possible or can send a picture to the serious bidders. Thank you. That is the only flaw that I see on the car.
