Normal 0 Hi Everybody, In Short I Have Owned This Milan Roadster Cadillac For Close To 25 Years, This Is Actually My Second One, The First One I Bought Was A Copy Of The Real Milan, And When I Found This Original One, I Had To Have It, A Few Ways To Tell Number One- If It Has The “Pricless” Milan Emblems Which I Took Off For Safety And Are In Perfect Condition With All Prongs Attached, (See Picture) Secondly That It Has The Fiberglass Bucket Where The Rear Seating Use To Be, The Fakes Were Homemade And Usually Carpeted. THE RED CAR IS THE FIRST ONE I HAD- wow look how young! Anyhow The Car Came Stock With A 350 Oldsmobile Motor- Which Wasn’t Good Enough For Me At The Time- So In Its Place Was Installed A New 455 Oldsmobile, Custom Headers And Dual Exhaust, Electronic Ignition, Electric Fuel Pump And The Motor Was Like $8500 About 15 Years Ago. It Also Has A Stronger 342 Posi Rear End And A Brand New Turbo 400 Transmission, Built By Anderson Transmission, If You Not Local, They Are The Best Around- Totally Overdone, But With The Correct Rpm Stall Converter- I Always Hated That Jump Feel With The Higher Stall Converters. Most Importantly, This Car Was Not Built As A Hobby Car For Sunday Drives. At The Time I Lived In Long Island And Went To Manhattan About Three Times A Week. I Paid, And Built This Car With A Team Of Experts So I Could Take It Into Manhattan With The Ac On And Enjoy The Car And Its Convertible . Seriously Everything Was Either Over Built Or New, Brakes, I Put The 5 Core ( Cant Remember The Name) Radiator, I Upgraded All The Suspension, Ball Joints Tie Rods, Put A Larger Sway Bar, Urethane Bushing, Change The Pitman Arm, Changed The Power Steering Motor To That Of A Trans Am, With A Quicker Ratio, Seriously The List Goes On- I Was Making Big Money Back Then, And All The Team Had To Do Was Whisper And It Was On The Car Or Ordered. Just Look At The Engine Details- Too Much To Type Over Again.
