This motorcycle up for bid is a 1982 Honda CB750SC Nighthawk. It is in excellent condition for its age.It has always been stored properly so long as i have had it, and the inside of the gas tank is very nice with little to no rust showing. As can be expected for any 28 year old bike, it does has very minor scratches and bruises, but even these are minimal.all the chrome is in good shape, and it still has the original 4 into 4 exhaust. The mileage is original. the seat had the top seam splitting open about 4 to 5 inches, so i sewed it up with fishing line, it was down very neatly and professionally with close attention to detail, sop it is very hard tpo notice unless you know it is there. The engine and transmission are all original and have not been monkeyed with. the battery is good and it will stat up on the first crank always, but it is a typical cold blooded Honda, and as all Honda's are it needs to warm up on choke before it will idle nicely. But when it does warm up it idles great, and does not skip or bog, it is very responsive to the throttle. the carbs are clean and work almost perfect. The pipes have mild blueing, but that was because the original air box was not there for a long time and the engine got hot starving for gas. I have just this past winter found an original airbox on ebay and installed it with a brand new air filter, and it solved all its problems. The tires were replace at 8,000 miles,and as you can see they have plenty of tread, and matching tread patterns. the oil has always been changed regularly in the two years that i have owned it, and i have put 2,000 miles on it since i bought it. I am selling it before it rolls over to 10,000 miles, so the miles you see in the pictures are the miles that will be on it when you buy it, it was my daily driver untill today when i transferred the registration and plate to my new bike. It also just passed inspection two weeks ago.it has a functioning gas gauge and has gotten me as much as 59 mpg on the highway before. there are only two small cracks in the plastic on the entire bike, and they are both pictured. one is in one sidecover, and the other is in the tail. Everything on this bike works, it is mechanically sound, and needs absolutly nothing. Just recently i rebuilt the front brakes and replace the fork seals two weeks ago. it is chain drive,dual overhead cam, 4 cylinder 750cc, and has a five-speed gear box. it will come with 2 spare keys. Sold as is with no guarantees or warrenty written, expressed, or implied.I will include a formal bill of sale that will be neatly done and include every spec of information the DMV will require in order to register it. In NH A bill of sale is all you need for a bike this old, but a title sure would still work, i think i have it, and i will try and find it, but if not, then the buyer will get a bill of sale, and i will try and work with you to get what you need to register it in your state. I WILL NOT SHIP this bike, buyer must make arrangement to pick it up. A $500 non refundable deposit is due immediatly with in 24hrs of the end of the auction, and the remaining amount to be paid within 7 days of auction end. all funds must clear before vehical is released.
