Specifically, someone noticed that there were no leaves in the pictures and thought they might be old (they were taken April 25th), so I took new pictures of it today: http://tinypic.com/a/27bbd/3 The truck has only gone 200 miles or so since then and has spent most of that time in a nice dry garage. As for the paint, while it certainly isn't perfect (there are numerous swirls scuffs, and light scratches in the clear coat that don't show up very well in pictures), it's about what you'd expect to see on a 4 year old vehicle. 90% of it would probably come right out with a professional buffing. I was speaking to a potential bidder on the phone who asked me to rate the paint on a scale from 1 to 10 where a 10 is factory new and a 1 means it needs repainting, and I told him 8.5... However, after cleaning up for these pictures and looking at it in the hard light of day, I'd probably revise that down to a 7.5. I wouldn't want the winner of this auction to be disappointed because they were expecting showroom perfect paint. I'd rather under-promise and over-deliver. Also I noticed the current top bidder has zero feedback. I have attempted to contact them through eBay. Unless I hear from them by noon on Monday and they offer me a very compelling reason why I shouldn't cancel their bid (or unless someone else out-bids them) I will cancel their bid at that time.
