Offered in this auction is a 1999 VW Eurovan, 6 cylinder in very good condition. No rust or mechanical issues. Has current PA inspection and maintenance such as oil changes, etc are done on a regular basis. It always was kept inside our garage when not in use. I might be a bit prejudice but I think the VW eurovans are the best, roomiest vans that money can buy. You can easily transport 4 x 8 sheeting inside when the seat folds down. It also creates a bed if you want to use if for that reason. There is minor small paint chipping in front area due to normal highway driving but no other major body issues and there is no rust. I have never had to add oil between oil changes, AC blows nice and cold and has a climate control system which allows you to select temperature for both front and rear. You can have it colder in the rear or up front. A nice feature when traveling with more than 2 people in the van. The only item not working on this van is the cruise control (the diagnosis for this is that it had a weak vacuum pump and needs replaced, cost approx. $260) Also needs a new antennae. There are 109,000+ well cared for miles. I have had this van for 4 years now and absolutely love it. The purchase price I paid back in Dec. 2006 was $11,000. I was not even planning to sell it until we decided to purchase a Class B Motorhome. The reserve price for the van is $6800. I also have advertised this locally and reserve the right to cancel the auction if sold. As with any used vehicle you never know if you will run into costly repairs. There are some items that I have had repaired or replaced and now you need not worry about. The transmission was rebuilt about 2-1/2 years ago, a new alternator and battery installed last year as was the serpentine belt. The muffler assembly was also replaced. Tires have approx 17,000 miles on them. Last year I had installed a class 3 trailer hitch with electric brakes. This was used only one time to pull a light weight pop up trailer. Also included are the VW privacy curtains which have never been used. These are quite pricey if you went out to buy a set.
