1950 Willys Jeepster Phaeton with 4 cylinder flathead engine, 3 speed manual transmission with OD (does not work) My brother bought this car in 1984 and he does not know when it was repainted from red to yellow. Convertible top is complete, back window needs to be repaired and the side curtains are complete. 4 Willys hub caps are included, but do not fit the wheels ( Do not know if wheels are original or if the caps are for a different Willys) Chrome hood ornament is cracked Engine runs well carburator and points have been replace Vehicle drive like a 1950 Jeepster, it is not a sports car, luxury car or a 4 wheel drive This Jeepster can be enjoyed as it is or restored to show On Aug-10-10 at 19:54:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received several questions about the Willys Jeepster, some by eBay's email and some by phone. To answer and let everyone who is interested know what I have discovered. My brother bought the Jeepster in 1994 instead of 1984 (according to the title). He bought the car from a man who had three or four Jeepsters at the time. The title number matches the VIN # plate, however, the VIN # plate is is attached by screws instead of rivets. After looking at some pictures of 1950 Jeepsters I am convinced that Jeepster I am selling has a 1948 or 1949 Body. There is no Heater in the car. The Steering has some play in it, but not bad. The Floor is in good condition, no rust. The Muffler is loud.
