2000 Chevrolet Silverado LS K3500 Crew Cab / Long Bed 4x4 Vortec 7400 454 V8 ~ Four Wheel Drive ~ Single Rear Wheels ~ LS Luxury Package Overview I am selling my clean and clear 2000 Chevy Silverado LS. It is a 1-ton K3500 model crew cab with the 8ft. bed. IT also has the largest motor available which is a 7.4L Vortec V8 with 454 cubic inches displacement. It is also a four-wheel-drive model with Hi and Low on the floor. All these options and features operation as they should, and the truck is in overall excellent condition. At 157k miles, this truck is very powerful and very reliable. I have service records to show that it has been maintained as it should be. It has a clean record and has never been in an accident in its life. This is one of the finest automobiles I have ever owned, and I know it has many years of faithful service ahead. Mechanical Condition While this 454 cubic inch engine has 157k miles on it, the motor is powerful as ever and is very peppy. It can move this big truck around quickly whether in town or on the highway - while pulling 10,000lbs. behind it. This 3500 has the heavy duty towing package with oil and transmission coolers and all the necessary wiring and equipment. It keeps this big motor running smooth and cool at all times. It has never pulled anything, and I have only used it as a family vehicle for its large interior space. There are no leaks on this truck at all. No oil leaks, no antifreeze leaks, no transmission leaks, no air conditioner leaks. All systems are 100% operational and will be years from now. It starts great, runs great, shifts great, drives great, handles great, and stops great. And it's a comfortable ride with the ice cold air conditioning. Again, I have records to account for the maintenance performed on this truck going back several years. Interior Condition This truck has very little wear, even for its age. It has most of its use on the highway, so this truck is tight and very nice inside. The carpet is clean, and the headliner is clean, and so it everything in between. Seats are in immaculate condition with no rips or tears, and of course are completely comfortable. The driver seat is 8-way full power with lumbar support. Both front and rear seats have armrests, and there are cup holders everywhere. The front has a floor console and a roof console as well - every option available, except leather. All are fully functional and in new condition. The dash is in excellent condition, with not even a hint of cracking. The windshield has a clear UV tint. All windows are deep tinted, including the front windows, which have legal tint from the dealer. All windows are full power and are fully functional. Other amenities make this a luxury truck, such as an 8-speaker sound system with CD and cassette. 6 different map lights and illuminated driver and passenger vanity mirrors make this a comfortable ride. Inside this truck is like a living room! Exterior Condition This massive truck has a lot of surface area, but for all that shiny gold paint, there is no damage. No wrecks have scarred this truck, and there is no fading or rust or anything but shine. This is a Texas truck and has been its entire life. There are a few very minor surface scratches around the bed. Other than that, there are just a few minor dings on the hood only from slight hail damage. It is not severe, and not noticeable from inside the truck and only visible from some angles on the outside. The paint is deep and shiny, and has a mirror firemist finish. The wheels on this truck are great too! They are optional aluminum alloy wheels with chrome lug nuts and chrome caps. These are all deep and shiny, like a mirror. The chrome finish is smooth and does not have any rust or pitting. The alloy rims do not have any rash and look great on this big truck. Tires on this truck are Bridgestone and have great tread remaining. I recently took this truck on trip to New Mexico and it was great! No problems at all! Service History I have a bundle of records going back to 2007, and I also have the original dealer window sticker which shows this truck was $34,155.55. I have kept this truck maintained, and some of its most recent service includes: Antifreeze flush and refill with Dex-Cool, Transmission flush, Front and Rear differential flush, and front brake pads. It also has a new starter with a lifetime warranty. I have also performed a tune-up with new Delco spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter, PCV valve, and Throttle Position Sensor. I also have new Bosch 1-piece wipers. This truck is registered and inspected in Texas until October 2010. The inspection station manager always comes out to compliment me on the finest truck of this model he has seen. I have a clear Texas title in my name ready to sign over to the new owner. Options This truck is the highest-optioned truck available from General Motors in 2000. It has the LS luxury package and power everything. Only the power locks are a bit sluggish from age. I should note that this truck has remote keyless entry, however I no longer have the remotes.
