1999 Lexus RX300 ALL WHEEL DRIVE This vehicle was purchased off lease in 2002. It has been an unbelievably reliable car for our family. Everything works perfectly. My husband has meticulously maintained this car. Changed the oil every 5000 miles using genuine Toyota filters, changed the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles using genuine Toyota Type T-IV transmission fluid, flushed brake system every 30,000 miles, replaced air filter and cabin filter every 30,000 miles, replaced the timing belt, spark plugs and coolant at 120,000 miles. He has recently replaced several wear items: power antenna, brake pads, lift gate struts, lift gate latch, and windshield. This vehicle has never been in an accident. UPDATE: Carfax is reporting an accident. Here are the details. I was driving through downtown Romeo Michigan and got sideswiped by a non attentive driver driving along side me. Actually, I believe her tire touched my right rear quarter. There is a scrape above the driver's rear wheel well. I never got it fixed. The reason I reported it is that she turned around and went back to the local police station and tried to accuse me of hitting her. The cop came out and looked at her front fender and my quarter and told me he'd seen enough...and asked her to come inside. I have added photos. The last two pictures in the group show the scrape. The first picture was taken under flourescent lights; you can see the scrape. The second picture was taken outside in sun light; you can see why I never got it fixed. Extras include tow hitch and winter floor mats as well as some leftover genuine Toyota oil filters and touch up paint. Car is loaded with amenities such as: Power windows, leather seats, auto dimming mirrors, heated seats, 6 disk CD changer, power moon-roof, roof rack, anti-lock brakes and a traction option for snow. V6 engine has great power with a smooth automatic transmission. If you ever knew anybody who owned a LEXUS, they can speak for the quality. Body has some dings, but as expected for the miles.
